These Cheeky Hen Party Games Are The Perfect Ice Breakers For Guests
Looking for some inspiration on how to keep the party going? Whether it’s a tame affair or something a little randier, here’s a selection of some of the funniest ice breaker games for you and the girls to get giddy to.
Mr And Mrs
An absolutely hen party classic – before the hen party, ask the groom 10 to 20 questions about him, the bride and their relationship (if you have time, you can record him answering and play his response on the day).
Quiz the bride-to-be and see if their answers match up. We’ve got some great examples of questions here.
Or gin, or beer, or … Anything that will have a ball float on it, pretty much! Take it in turns to throw a ping pong ball into a glass and if you’re successful, the other team must drink the prosecco in the glass that it lands in.
Play until one team’s glasses are empty and the other team declares victory. There’s plenty of pre-made kits you can buy, or else you can go DIY with some plastic flutes and a ping pong ball.
Pin The Trunks To The Hunks
Not a game for wallflower brides, Pin The Trunks To The Hunks is the rated-R version of Pin The Tail On The Donkey. Guests take it, in turn, to pin the willy on the paper hunk.
Again, depending o how much effort you want to pin, you can do a DIY on this or buy some a set online to save on time (and potential paper cuts).
Make A Man
All you need for this hen party game is play-doh. You can let the girls play individually or put everyone into teams. Give everyone some play-doh and ask them to make a man.
You can make it as competitive as you like and get votes for the best shapes. You’d be surprised at how fun this is and how creative your ladies are!
We recommend playing this after a few drinks for added comedic value (and perhaps increased artistic ability?)
Toilet Paper Dress
First, divide all the guests into teams of three or four. Have each team pick a “bride” for whom they will design a toilet paper wedding dress. Give each team four to six rolls of toilet paper and set the clock for 20 minutes.
Start the timer and set the teams loose dressing their “bride” in their best toilet paper gown design. When the time is up, have a mini fashion show where each “bride” shows off her team’s dress creation. Let the real bride pick her favourite dress design.
This is one for someone who is up for a small amount of arts and crafts. Stick some bras to a project board and write numbers for scores next to them (or on them, if they’re old). The guests then bounce a ping pong ball into each one of the cups of each bra.
You can play for points with the winner getting a boobie prize (truly no pun intended) or go down the traditional pong route of taking drinks. The choice is yours!
Any Digestives in the cupboard? The Biscuit Challenge is for those with a competitive edge and an, eh, artistic flair.
Guests take it turns to bite the shape of a penis into a biscuit (harder than it sounds, this one). Whoever’s culinary creation most resembles the real thing wins!
Porn or Polish
Now, this could get raunchy – Porn or Polish challenges your hen party guests to decipher whether each title is the name of nail polish or of a porn film. Again, it’s more difficult than it sounds.
If your bride has family in attendance and you fancy, ahem, editing the title, go with ‘Movies & Makeup’, which is also surprisingly hard. ‘Size Matters’, anyone?
